Dessert: Is this the end...or just the beginning?

Wow! Congratulations!! You’ve reached the final tapas. Be sure to give yourself a pat on the back for completing the program. But before sending this off you, I ask for one last discovery post.

For your last and final exercise for this program please reflect on your learning journey and post a few thoughts. Here are some questions to prompt you if you're drawing a blank ...
  • What were your favorite discoveries or exercises on this learning journey?
  • How has this program assisted or affected your lifelong learning goals?
  • Were there any take-aways or unexpected outcomes from this program that surprised you?
  • What could we do differently to improve upon this program’s format or concept?

And last but not least…

  • If we offered another discovery program like this in the future, would you again chose to participate?

In closing, we want to thank each and every one of you for joining on this journey. We have enjoyed reading your blogs, listening to your comments and questions, and discovering how much creativity there is at the NJSL! Our greatest hope is that this not the end of our learning journey together as a staff and a library, but rather it’s just the start of something amazing …

Thank you!
Bob and Andrea

  1. I'd like to thank you both as well as NJSL for this useful technology learning experience. Technology Tapas was very enjoyable and rewarding. I hope that this initiative continues. Andrea and Bob deserve kudos for a job well done with organizing and administering TT!

  3. This Staff Development and Training in Tapas form is such a great initiative. We are exposed to the terminolgy on a daily basis yet, hesitate to try out these web 2.0 features. Presenting structured learning at our own pace is well done. Hurray for Bob and Andrea!

  4. This was a great experience. I'm a little breathless now, trying to finish. Would definitely participate again, preferably in the summer when things are a little slower and can spend more time with it. Well done!
